Microsoft Releases 2010 Suite RTM

Microsoft 2010 – Ready or Not – it is here!

On Friday the 17th of April 2010 Microsoft announced the RTM (Release to Manufacture) version of their 2010 Product Suite. As a Gold Certified partner, UMT Consulting SA has been gearing up for this release for some time now. We have already internally installed the RC (Release Candidate) version of the product to start analysing the differences, as well as doing an internal upgrade of our project server operational environment to 2010.

We are pleased to report that, thus far, we have not experienced any serious problems with any of our endeavours. This is based on the fact that the core database architecture for the 2010 Suite has stayed the same, where-as with 2007 there was a total re-development of the core architecture of the product.
