The art piece ‘Architects of Change’ is, in essence, a visual representation of the underlying culture of UMT Consulting SA; the organizations’ values, approach to business, and its people. Because the art piece was developed in close conjunction with the UMT Consulting SA management team, it is both an amalgamation of the thoughts and ideals of the individuals who comprise the organization, as well as a reflection of the overall spirit of the organization itself.
As a visual metaphor, ‘Architects of Change’ stands to communicate to the viewer the Excellence which UMT Consulting SA holds as its core, and as such, it also communicates both in part and as a whole the constituent UMT SA values of Ownership & Accountability, Trustworthiness, Respect, Innovation & Growth, and Diversity. In the piece, the architects are the visionaries who plan, manage, and control the building of the city. They are responsible for the creation of potential and opportunity where nothing stood before, and ensure that the new world which they have conceived will always promote sustainable growth and prosperity.
The city itself is a well organized sprawl of interconnectivity; of shared ideas, mutual understanding and common benefit. The city is also still developing – even where potential has been unlocked and harnessed, the architects’ careful planning has ensured that there will always be more room for conscientious growth, and the city will always be capable of expanding to accommodate an ever increasing population of individuals with innovative ideas and the desire to succeed, who seek to share in the prosperity which the city has made tangible. With this in mind, the artwork also conveys the sense of urgency and perpetual movement which UMT Consulting SA has adopted: much has already been accomplished, but there is still and always will be more to do.
UMT Consulting SA prides itself on its unique touch, or its innovative and exceptional approach to business. The cityscape and surrounds are a testament to this positive idiosyncrasy, and this is made obvious by the subtle application of the organizations fingerprints to the entire environment which the artwork portrays. Finally, UMT Consulting SA’s unique identity is also carried into the artwork through the application of distinctive red focal points, such as the hard hats which the architects wear. This ensures that the UMT Consulting SA identity is apparent in the artwork, and it also serves to reinforce UMT Consulting SA’s impact and dominating presence within the prosperous cityscape.
‘Architects of Change’ is a milestone in the concretization of UMT Consulting SA’s culture. It is a metaphor for all those values which drive UMT SA to brilliance, as well as a medium by which individuals employed by UMT SA may visualize the goals and ideals instilled within them by the organization.
